Cognidox Ltd is an open-source software-solution vendor which produces the CogniDox document management system. CogniDox is web-based, document management software that lets high-tech Companies take control of design collaboration and the transfer of knowledge to customers and partners.
Our key difference is providing highly-integrated support for engineering development workflows and product lifecycle. Plug-ins are available for software SCCM tools, EDA tools, CRM systems and customer support applications. Our "Instant Extranet" solution enables companies to add a secure self-service customer portal onto their public web sites.

CogniDox software started around 2000 as "Doxbox" by Virata, a fabless semiconductor company that was later acquired by Conexant. All rights to Doxbox were granted to us and with a new name CogniDox was then taken up by many other semiconductor companies. Our remit is now slightly wider, but we still focus on the high tech, media tech and clean tech sectors.
In December 2009 we were chosen as the Microsoft BizSpark 'company of the day'. You can read about it on the BizSpark website.
