We provide flexible licensing for CogniDox, with standard Enterprise Licenses, a supported Appliance License, a Pay-as-you-go subscription model and CogniDox as a service.
You own your edition of CogniDox. We install the software on a server configuration you supply, located at your premises. The cost of the license depends on the number of users in your company. Setup and configuration costs are additional. Support is included for first year, and a support fee is payable for subsequent years. The advantage of this license is that it offers the lowest total cost of ownership measured over a three- or five-year period.
Identical to the Enterprise License, except that we also lease you the hardware required to run CogniDox and we work with your IT department to install this alongside your other servers. We are responsible for ongoing support for the hardware and software. The advantages of this license is that you will always be using the latest version of CogniDox, and it allows you to free up the majority of CogniDox system administration time (and cost) to other IT duties.
Similar to the Enterprise License, except that you pay a monthly subscription per user (minimum three months, in advance). The setup and configuration costs are identical. There's no support fee - as long as users have a valid subscription they continue to use the software. The advantage of this license is that it provides a way to manage cash outlay and as an operational rather than a capital expenditure. You are also free to unsubscribe from the service at any time.
This is our on-demand offering. Rather than install CogniDox on your premises, we create a virtual server for you on a cloud computing service. The advantage of this license is that there are no system administration costs for you. As in the appliance model, you will always be using the latest version of CogniDox. As in the subscriptions model, support fees are included and you can unsubscribe at any time. We provide a data migration service if you do leave, so we never "own your data".
