We provide web-based document management solutions that help companies in two key areas: product development document control and web portals for Customer or Partner-facing documents.
For internal product document management you have a choice: install CogniDox DMS on-premise using your own servers or we'll build a private cloud-based CDOX to your specification.
For external documents on web portals you can build your own Extranet. Alternatively, we can provide you with a private cloud-based XtraNet for instant results and zero system administration overhead. 
You can have CogniDox DMS-only, CDOX-only or XtraNet-only versions of our products.
You can also combine them. For example, a company may have an on-premise deployment of CogniDox DMS (with access from many different locations) and also purchase an XtraNet virtual private cloud as a service. The advantage to them is that it is a managed service, and good IT practice would be to deploy the external-facing extranet on a separate server anyway.
Or, a company may have a cloud-based CDOX deployment (again, with access from many locations) and also purchase an XtraNet virtual private cloud as a managed service. Again, the advantage to them is that it is a managed service except now both systems are managed and the demands on their internal IT staff are kept to a minimum. There is also the advantage that it is easier to locate data centres nearer to users, rather than having everyone access a server that may be on the orher side of the world.
In both scenarios we keep servers apart using Firewall and other access security methods so that employee applications are kept separate from customer or partner-facing systems.
