In Release 7.0.7 (Spring|2009) we added a plug-in for salesforce.com that interfaces to their Web Services API.
As the sales team convert their Leads into Contacts at Accounts, one of the final steps is to simply "cognidox enable" the Account using a custom account field in Salesforce. Once enabled, any Accounts created or edited in Salesforce will be updated as CogniDox Licensees. Contacts in Salesforce can be updated using the CogniDox Extranet User custom field.
The benefit and major advantage of this over Salesforce alone is that it enables the powerful License Management and content permissions features of CogniDox to be fully and seamlessly integrated with the CRM features of Salesforce.
